He once ate 9 cupcakes from Little Cakes With Big Attitudes in 5 minutes. While it was for a good cause to raise money for charity, he does not recommend it.
But as a Certified Nutrition Coach, he does recommend eating well-balanced meals, fueling yourself properly for workouts, and hydrating. Colten says “Nutrition can be a game-changer when it comes to the type of workouts we do at Iron Boot.”
He says “Seeing our members enjoy their workouts and grow within the gym as well as in their life outside of the gym brings me joy.”
“Seeing new personal bests and growth in the gym is absolutely awesome. But seeing our members have a good time throwing down in the workouts alongside the community is special. And building friendships that go outside of the gym walls is pretty cool too!”
Colten has experienced lots of failing, learning and succeeding in his own fitness journey. He says “I try to use my past mistakes and failures to learn from them and help others avoid those issues.”
