Mark (aka Fuse) says, “I love when our members achieve things they thought weren’t physically possible. I provide the guidance and encouragement but they are the ones that put in the tough work.”
Fuse has always had a passion for helping others. He believes that one’s personal fitness can have huge benefits to their personal life and in some instances, can be a lifesaver. “What we do at Iron Boot carries over into everyday life”.
As Head Coach, Mark wears a ton of hats. He oversees the class experience making sure this is one of the best hours of each member’s day. He designs our daily workout program and ensures everyone is making steady progress with their fitness. Mark helps train and build up our coaching team to be one of the best in the fitness industry.
Before becoming a full-time coach in 2013, he was a Division I pole vaulter at the University of Texas at El Paso. He then worked as a merchant banker in New York City.
In the Spring, he spends his extra time as a High School Track and Field Coach. He’s been a rock climbing instructor and became a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Mark and his wife Glenda love spending time with their newborn son, Jude.
